Summary | 0000501: Date editor doesn't use local date settings
Description | Date editor doesn't use local date settings. > I'm currently using the latest version of DBW Firebird Lite > (4.3.1) but it has an annoying bug which result in some > serious problems for me and it is preventing me from using > this tool. The problem is that the data-editor for datetime > always uses american date format and it does not correctly > adhere to the local settings. For instance, if I insert > 8/1/2013 09:00:00 in the editor without the drop-down > (I'm in The Netherlands so this is 8 januari 2013) and my > locale is Dutch the data is saved as the first of August 2013! > After that, no matter how hard I try I can't change the date > to 8 januari using the user interface. I hope you will make > the time to look into this error because it is very > frustrating (especially the fact that I can't set the correct > date, no matter how hard I try).
